Fast Bolus Injection Protocol for Dynamic PET - UC Davis EXPLORER Center
Delivering a precise bolus injection of the radiotracer is essential for capturing the real-time distribution of the radiopharmaceutical throughout the body’s vasculature and tissue. Moreover, in dynamic PET/CT imaging, a sharp bolus injection improves quantification of kinetic parameters. This document outlines the protocol used at the EXPLORER Molecular Imaging Center (EMIC) for performing dynamic PET imaging with a bolus injection of the radiotracer.
